Brief_
Create a restaurant with a specific experience.
Work_
Team of 3 industrial designers students: Yu Kondo, Sylvain Vanderhagen, and I. We develop the experience of restaurant where people could be involve in a dark environment. The whole design help clients to focus on 4 sens during the meal : the olfactory, the hearing, the taste and the tactile. The view is used for the just essential. Because of the “hurried” daily life, we usually forget to use all our sens when we eat quickly, on the go or in front of the television.
This project is made through an industrial design methodology: Analysis, creativity, development. In addition to the 3D, we produce mock ups to help define shapes and restaurant experience. The presented project not include the food design: We just propose to share the food around the on-table-barbecue and eat mostly with spoon and bread.
